Little by little, a more adult twist began to slip into the Christmas calendars.
Everyday challenges peeked between the lines—but always with a cheerful tone.  The Christmas calendar team doubled when we were joined by the multi-talented graphic artist
 Häkkilän Johanna I wrote the rhymes, Johanna illustrated them and put the whole layout together. We spent many delightful evenings on our walks, pondering the complicated life of Heikki the Mouse.
But in the end, even that story turned into joy!
